Keep your Eye on the Ball
Keep Your Eye On The Ball
Keep Your Eye On The Ball was set-up by The FA, PFA and Everyman in 2000 to raise awareness of testicular and prostate cancers within the football community.
In its ten years, the initiative has attracted fantastic backing from football fans and players alike.
As The Institute of Cancer Research’s (ICR) dedicated appeal, Everyman aims to raise funds for prostate and testicular cancer research that will make a real impact on cancer patients’ lives. Thanks to advances made at the ICR, testicular cancer is now 99% curable with the right treatment and when caught early. Our recent achievements include designing and developing one of the only drugs that has been shown to extend life for men with advanced prostate cancer.
Following a review of our fundraising strategy, we have decided to focus our limited resources on a small number of large events that will help us raise the funds our scientists need to continue making the discoveries that defeat cancer. Consequently, we are no longer running Keep Your Eye On The Ball. Please visit www.everyman-appeal.org and www.icr.ac.uk for other ways to get involved.
